An Evening in Tuscany Asparagus Parmigiana

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup marinara sauce

2 bunches of asparagus, ends trimmed

1 TBSP Milford Spice Company’s An Evening In Tuscany

5 slices of provolone cheese

3/4 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup panko bread crumbs

1/2 cup of parmesan cheese, grated

Olive oil

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

In a small bowl, combine marinara sauce and Milford Spice Company's An Evening in Tuscany. Stir to combine thoroughly.

Trim asparagus, toss with a little olive oil and arrange in one layer on baking sheet.

Pour the marinara down the center of the asparagus stems. 

Top the marinara with the provolone cheese, then sprinkle a layer of the mozarella cheese.

Cover the cheese with breadcrumbs, followed by the parmesan cheese.

Bake for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is golden brown. Broil for about 30 seconds to 1 minute to get a nice golden brown crust.
