Spicy Brighton's Burger Blast Sliders

INGREDIENTS:
½ pound lean ground beef
½ pound chorizo
3 tsp Milford Spice Company Brighton’s Burger Blast
6 slider buns
Half of a red onion, sliced into rings
½ cup queso fresco, shredded
3/4 cup pico de gallo
1 avocado sliced into cubes
Salt & pepper to taste
1/4 cup chipotle mayo
DIRECTIONS:

Mix beef and chorizo and Milford Spice Company’s Brighton’s Burger Blast together until well incorporated.

Divide mixture into 6 equal patties.

In a small bowl, mix avocado and pico de gallo together until just combined and season with a little salt & pepper to taste. You’ll want to keep it on the chunky side. Set aside.

Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat for 5 minutes.

Oil the grill pan and sear patties in batches for 3-5 minutes per side, until cooked through.

While the patties are grilling, oil the cut sides of the slider buns and set aside.

Once the patties are done, grill the buns for 30 seconds and remove from the grill pan.

Assemble sliders with chipotle mayo on the bottom bun, then the burger patty, red onion, avocado mixture, queso fresco, and top with the other bun piece.
