Why it works

The glaze is already in the blend.

Honey browns around the edges. Chipotle adds warm smoke. Rosemary, basil, sage and marjoram keep the finish savory instead of overly sweet.

First

Light sweetness

Honey forms a glossy coating as the salmon cooks.

Then

Warm smoke

Chipotle brings depth and gentle heat without hiding the fish.

Finish

Savory herbs

The herb blend rounds everything out and keeps dinner balanced.

The recipe

Easy Honey Chipotle Salmon

Four ingredients, one pan and no separate glaze to mix.

Oven method

  1. Heat the oven to 425°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet or shallow pan with parchment.
  2. Dry and oil the salmon. Pat the fillets dry, place them on the pan and brush the top and sides lightly with olive oil.
  3. Season evenly. Coat the top and sides with Honey Chipotle. Let it sit while the oven finishes heating.
  4. Roast for 8–12 minutes. Check thinner fillets first. The center should be just opaque and flake easily.
  5. Rest and finish fresh. Let the salmon rest for 2 minutes, then serve with lemon or lime wedges.

Keep the honey from burning: cook hot and fairly quickly, watch thin edges closely and skip a long broil at the end.

Cook it your way

Oven

425°F · 8–12 minutes

Use the full method above for the easiest hands-off option.

Air fryer

400°F · 7–10 minutes

Arrange in one layer and check early; circulating heat darkens the honey quickly.

Grill

Medium heat · 3–5 minutes per side

Oil the grates and move the fish to a cooler spot if the coating colors too fast.

A few quick answers

Cooking notes and package details, without the guesswork.

Is Honey Chipotle very spicy?

No. The chipotle brings gentle smoky heat, while the honey and herbs keep the blend mild and balanced.

How much should I use on salmon?

For four 5–6 oz fillets, start with 1 tablespoon total. Add a little more if needed to coat the top and sides evenly.

Can I use frozen salmon?

Yes. Thaw it fully and pat it dry before adding oil and seasoning so the surface can brown instead of steam.

What package sizes are available?

Choose a 2.1 oz Flat Pack, 3.5 oz Glass Shaker, 2 lb Large Bag, or 4.2 oz Shaker with Flip Top on the Honey Chipotle product page.

What else can I use it on?

Try it on chicken, shrimp, pork, roasted carrots, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, stir-fries, tacos or fajitas.

How do I keep the honey coating from burning?

Cook hot and fairly quickly, check thin edges early, and move the salmon away from direct grill heat if the coating darkens before the center is ready.

One blend. About 15 minutes.

Dinner is handled.
